It all started as a passion over 20 years ago when Pawel Matuszyński designed his first downhill frame during his studys at the University of Technology in Kraków, Poland. During these two decades Pawel designed the Floating Pivot Suspension system which he used in many full suspension frames. Always dedicated to racing and working with riders all over the World his full suspension frames were multi podium finishers in national and international competitions including world cups in Downhill, enduro, freeride and trials.
In 2016, Pawel decided to stop outsorcing the production of his designs and to build a frame production company from scratch. Thanks to meeting the proper people his idea became reality. After 5 years of learning and implementing the technology together with a great team of professionals at Bikemanufactor, Paweł decided to start working on his new brand Druid bicycles drawing the first sketches in Solidworks.
Each frame starts its life from raw, EU certified 7020 aluminium alloy tubes, profiles, plates and rods. Pre cutting, Cnc machining and TIG handwelding, heat treatment, painting, assembly and quality control is all done in house.
Options such as custom geometry and custom finishes are unique in todays mass produced full suspension frame industry. All these features besides the proven riding performance on the hardest single tracks makes each Druid frame a small piece of art.
